Donna KesslerDonna Kessler

Donna Kessler has been writing a car and motorcycle feature called “My Ride” for the Times Herald-Record in Middletown, N.Y., (recordonline.com/myride) for the past 12 years.

She has loved cars and motorcycles all her life. While in high school she met her future husband, Jay. He loved hot rods and she loved riding in them, the perfect pair. She has one daughter, Megan, who is now 28, who shares the same love for cars and motorcycles that her parent have. Jay and Donna own a 1966 Nova, a 2005 Jaguar X-Type, a 2001 Harley-Davidson Heritage, a 1994 Harley-Davidson Road King, a 2003 Iron Horse Texas Chopper (Elvis Tribute bike) and a 1996 custom built Bobber (rigid). In her book, you can never have too many “toys.” Over the years of writing “My Ride,” She has met so many famous people and local folks with some of the best vehicles around and with some fascinating stories to tell, she is honored to publish them on the “My Ride” pages every Monday.
